Our Story
Meet the Breeder
For more than 15 years, Bethanie Creteau and her family have raised European Maine Coons from their home cattery in Jamul, California. Prestigious Purr is TICA registered, and families may view our TICA registration certificate.
We are grateful for the relationships we build with the families who welcome our kittens home. Our Maine Coons now live with families across the country, including actress Adrianne Curry, who welcomed Griffin, now known as Zorg. Read our Facebook reviews, see that happy homecoming on her podcast, and follow Zorg on Instagram.
We focus on the gentle temperament, striking look, and strong build associated with European Maine Coon lines. Our breeding cats receive health and genetic testing, and every kitten is placed with a written one year genetic health warranty.
Our adult males generally reach 18 to 25 pounds. From Jamul, we welcome local California families and arrange nationwide delivery for families farther away.

Out-of-State Families Welcome
Nationwide Maine Coon Kitten Delivery
Bringing home a Maine Coon from another state should not require guesswork. Some breeders do not place kittens with out-of-state families, while others mention nationwide shipping without explaining how delivery works.
We believe families deserve clear information before making a commitment. Whether you are in Texas, Colorado, Florida, or elsewhere in the United States, we offer several delivery options:
- Fly-in airport pickup at San Diego International Airport (SAN)
- Flight nanny service
- Ground transport
Our full delivery guide explains each option, what to expect, and how we help you choose the right plan for your family.

From Day One
How Our Maine Coon Kittens Are Raised
Our kittens are raised under veterinary supervision from birth. They are handled, litter trained, and socialized with our family, children, and dog from the very beginning, so they are used to everyday family life before they go to their new homes.
We feed only high-quality food, including Life’s Abundance and human-grade meats, to give every kitten a strong nutritional start. We work with traditional Maine Coon colors and patterns, including orange, black, black smoke, white, blue, and silver.
All of our breeding cats are genetically tested and clear for hereditary conditions. We want every kitten we place to be healthy, sweet, well-socialized, and ready to become part of the family.

Meet Our Maine Coon Parents
Each of our sires and dams is DNA tested through Optimal Selection and has tested negative for HCM and PKD. Health testing is an important part of our breeding program and helps us raise healthy Maine Coons for the families who welcome them home.
